4049 IC Hex Inverter Buffer
The CD4049UB is a CMOS hex inverting buffer designed for single‑supply logic‑level conversion and high‑drive applications. It contains six independent inverters (buffers) capable of translating and driving up to two TTL loads directly. The device operates from 3 V to 18 V and features very low quiescent and input currents, making it ideal for mixed‑voltage systems and battery‑powered designs.
Features
- Six inverting buffers in one package (hex inverter)
- Single-supply operation: 3 V to 18 V
- High sink current: can drive two TTL loads (IOL ≥ 3.3 mA at VCC=5 V)
- Logic-level conversion: input high voltage can exceed VCC
- Ultra-low quiescent current: 1 µA max at VCC=18 V
- 5 V, 10 V, and 15 V parametric ratings for versatile use
