5613BS-21 7-Segment Common Anode 0.56 inch Red
The 5613BS-21 (0.56″) is a compact single-digit 7-segment LED display engineered for clear numeric indication in a variety of panel and instrument applications. Built using AlInGaP LED dice and a white-diffused epoxy with black surface ink, the device produces a strong “super red” appearance centered near 650 nm. Its segments are arranged for high legibility at short to moderate viewing distances and are sized to fit standard PCB footprints for single-digit numeric readouts.
Designed to be driven as a current-operated device, the display gives typical luminous intensity around 5 mcd per segment at IF = 20 mA (range 3.0–7.5 mcd). Common Anode (CA)
In common anode display, all anode pins are connected together to VCC and LEDs are controlled via cathode terminals. It means to turn ON LED (segment), we have to make that cathode pin logic LOW or Ground.
