This module is ideally suited to monitoring the status of a 12V battery. Through clever use of a series of resistors and the LM339 comparator, a visual indication of the state of a battery can been seen. As the battery depletes and the voltage begins to fade lights will begin to go off.
This battery level indicator offers four LEDs that light up progressively as the voltage increases:
- Red: Representing 20%
- Yellow(1): Representing 50%
- Yellow(2): Representing 80%
- Green: Representing 100%
