The BUW13A NPN Power Transistor is a glass‑passivated, high‑speed switching device housed in a TO‑3PN metal‑flanged package designed for rugged thermal performance. BUW13A offers VCEO = 450 V, IC = 15 A, peak ICM = 30 A, and maximum power handling of 175 W at TC=25 °C. The collector is bonded directly to the metal baseplate, and pin-out follows: pin 1=Base, pin 2=Collector, pin 3=Emitter. It’s suitable for converters, inverters, motor drivers, and high-speed switching circuits.
