To be able to connect a network cable, the wire pairs must first be uncovered. This means that the outer sheathing of the cable is removed. A cable stripper can be placed on top of the cable. By turning the stripper 360°, it cuts open the sheathing. The sheathing can then simply be stripped without damaging the pairs of wires underneath.
