This 82 µF / 400 V electrolytic capacitor is a high-voltage radial lead aluminum electrolytic from the ERA series. It is engineered as a general-purpose, high-reliability smoothing and energy-storage component for power electronics where compact size and high working voltage are required. The part is built to withstand elevated ambient temperatures and is intended for long duty in demanding circuits.

Constructed with electrolyte-impregnated aluminum foil and a robust sealing system, the capacitor balances volumetric efficiency with thermal endurance. In normal operation it provides bulk capacitance for DC link stabilization, ripple suppression and transient energy buffering.
