Cytron SHIELD-MD10 DC Motor Driver Shield 10Amp 7V-30V
The SHIELD-MD10 is an Arduino-form factor motor driver shield built to make driving brushed DC motors straightforward for hobbyists and developers. It plugs directly onto compatible Arduino boards and exposes user-friendly connectors and headers so a motor, power source, and Arduino can be wired with minimal fuss. The shield’s layout groups power, motor outputs, and control headers for rapid bench setup and tidy prototyping.
Control is intentionally simple: the shield accepts standard PWM and direction signals from the Arduino (with selectable pin jumpers), and it provides tactile test buttons and indicator LEDs that let you verify motor direction and driver activity without loading software. Stackable headers allow additional shields to be used above it, preserving expandability in multi-shield projects.
Designed with solid-state switching and a full H-bridge topology, the SHIELD-MD10 emphasizes reliable, fast response and low maintenance compared with mechanical relays. Its compact form factor and Arduino compatibility make it suited to iterative development mount, load a sketch, and iterate whether you’re validating motor control code or integrating motion into a small robot or automated prototype.
