ESP32-C3 Super Mini Development Module
The ESP32-C3 Super Mini Development Module is an ultra-compact, high-performance development board built around the Espressif ESP32-C3 dual-mode Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 (LE) SoC. It features a 32-bit single-core RISC-V processor running at up to 160MHz, with onboard 4MB flash, 400KB SRAM, and 384KB ROM. Designed for IoT, wearable, and low-power embedded applications, it delivers advanced wireless capabilities and rich peripheral support in a tiny, space-saving form factor.
Features
- Single-core 32-bit RISC-V CPU up to 160 MHz with floating-point support.
- Integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth 5 (LE).
- 400KB of SRAM, 384KB ROM, and 4MB of onboard Flash memory.
- Native USB-C connector for power and programming via the onboard USB-serial interface.
- Very low deep-sleep current suitable for battery-powered designs.
- Onboard BOOT and RESET buttons for easy firmware upload and recovery.
- Built-in status LED connected to GPIO8 (active-low).
- Multiple peripheral interfaces: UART, SPI, I²C, PWM, and ADC channels.
- Compact form factor that simplifies integration into small mechanical assemblies.
PINOUT
Notes:
- GPIO 2: a strapping to enter bootloader mode – avoid for general use.
- GPIO 8: connected to the onboard blue LED (inverted logic/active LOW). it’s also a strapping pin.
- GPIO 9: connected to the BOOT button – avoid for general use.
You need to take into account the fluctuation of the state of these GPIOs when the ESP32 resets or enters into bootloader mode. So if possible, avoid using them for general use.
