The metallized polyester film capacitor is a general‑purpose, radial‑potted device featuring a wound mono construction with vacuum‑deposited aluminum electrodes on a polyester (PET) dielectric. Rated at 1 µF and 63 V DC (40 V AC), it tolerates temperatures from –55 °C up to 125 °C, with a climatic category of 55/125/56. Encapsulation in a flame‑retardant UL 94 V‑0 plastic case and epoxy resin seal ensures mechanical robustness and moisture resistance.

Measuring 4.8 × 10 × 6.8 mm and weighing 0.60 g, the capacitor comes with tinned‑wire leads on a 5.0 mm pitch (±0.3 mm) and 0.50 mm diameter. It is marked with capacitance, tolerance, rated voltage, and manufacturing date, and is available loose in box, ammo‑pack, or on tape‑and‑reel for both manual and automated PCB assembly processes.
