Use these Electronic Jumpers (also called shunts or links) to create an electrical connection between two pin headers. A non-conductive plastic block covering the conductor prevents any accidental circuit shorts.

A jumper is a tiny metal connector that is used to close part of an electrical circuit. It may be used as an alternative to a dual in-line package (DIP) switch. Jumpers are like on/off switches. They may be removed or added to enable component performance options.

When a jumper is placed over two or more jumper pins, an electrical connection is made between them, and the equipment is thus instructed to activate certain settings accordingly. These Jumpers are used with our CNC Shields for many applications.
