KA2243 AM/FM IF Amplifier and Detector IC
The KA2243 is a highly integrated linear circuit for AM/FM intermediate-frequency (IF) signal processing in radio cassette tape recorders and home stereo systems. This monolithic IC consolidates critical functions for both AM and FM reception, including IF amplification, detection, automatic gain control (AGC), and signal metering.
Features:
- Suitable for radio cassettes and home stereos.
- Wide operating supply voltage range of 3V to 14V.
- Low quiescent circuit current for extended battery life.
- AM section with IF amplifier, AGC, and detector.
- Simplified input circuit for ceramic filter type in AM section.
