Kyoritsu KEW 2062 Clamp AC Power Meter
The KEW 2062 is a portable clamp-on AC power meter engineered for comprehensive power quality assessments. It features a tear-drop-shaped 55 mm jaw sensor that safely encloses conductors, supporting single- and three-phase (balanced/unbalanced) measurements. With true-RMS readings, it measures voltage, current, active/reactive/apparent power, power factor, phase angle, and frequency simultaneously on a dual-line LCD.
This meter analyzes harmonics up to the 30th order, displaying both RMS magnitude and content rate, and computes THD-R/THD-F distortion factors. Its phase-detection mode verifies rotation sequence and flags missing or reversed phases, aiding fault diagnosis in complex wiring systems.
Beyond power measurements, the KEW 2062BT adds Bluetooth 5.0 for real-time data logging and waveform display via the free “KEW Power*” app. User-friendly controls include auto-ranging, data-hold, MAX/MIN/AVG/PEAK modes, backlight, and auto-power-off after 15 min. A built-in memory holds up to 99 readings; LEDs and buzzers warn of live circuits or comparator thresholds.
