A user‑selectable frequency filter (50/60 Hz or WIDE up to 1 kHz) enables isolation of fundamental‑frequency currents or inclusion of higher‑frequency components from inverters.
The 3½‑digit LCD (max. 1999 counts) displays RMS values, while the peak‑hold function (10 ms/100 ms response) captures surge currents by indicating 1/√2 of the peak value. A DATA HOLD button freezes the display for easy viewing in hard‑to‑reach spots, and an LCD backlight aids measurements in dim environments.
