The Kyoritsu KEW 2431 is a compact, handheld digital clamp meter engineered specifically for measuring AC leakage currents in electrical systems. Its tear‑drop‑shaped transformer jaws accommodate conductors up to 24 mm in diameter, making it easy to clamp in crowded cable bundles or confined spaces without disconnecting wiring. Measurement ranges span 20 mA (0 – 19.99 mA), 200 mA (0 – 199.9 mA), and 200 A (0 – 199.9 A), selectable via a simple rotary switch.

A built‑in low‑pass filter (50/60 Hz mode) removes harmonics from inverter or switching‑regulator noise, ensuring accurate fundamental‑frequency readings. Readings are shown on a 3½‑digit LCD (max. 1999 counts) with an overrange “1” indicator, and the data‑hold button locks the displayed value for easy viewing in poorly lit or hard‑to‑reach locations.
