The KYORITSU KEW 2432 is a portable, two-pole leakage clamp meter engineered for rapid, non-intrusive AC leakage and load-current measurements. Encased in a robust housing, it clamps around a single conductor—whether a hot line for load current or multiple conductors excluding a grounded wire for leakage detection—and instantly displays readings on its large LCD.

Internally, the 2432 employs a sequential-comparison system with a “WIDE” or “50/60 Hz” selectable filter to isolate fundamental or high-frequency components. Readings up to 3.999 mA, 39.99 mA, and 80.0 A are rendered with 4 000-count resolution; overrange and low-battery warnings are clearly indicated. A peak-hold mode captures transient events down to 10 ms, useful for inverter-driven loads.

Designed per IEC 61010-2-032 CAT III 300 V, pollution degree 2, the KEW 2432 features tear-drop jaws for cramped cable runs, a glow-in-the-dark TEST button, and audible beeps confirming operation. Auto-power-off after 10 minutes and a backlit display (auto-off after 2 min) conserve two AA cells, ensuring up to 40 hours of continuous use.
