Kyoritsu KEW 3021 Digital Insulation & Continuity Testers
The Kyoritsu KEW 3021 is a compact, four-range digital insulation and continuity tester engineered for low-voltage installations up to 600 V. Driven by a microprocessor, it delivers selectable DC test voltages (125 V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V) for insulation checks and a DC continuity test with up to 200 mA of test current. Its AUTO DISCHARGE feature safely bleeds residual charge from capacitive circuits, while visible and audible live-circuit warnings enhance user safety during operation.
Equipped with a back-lit LCD and 30-segment bar graph, the KEW 3021 provides clear trend indication even in dim environments. It features zero-Ω ADJ to null test-lead resistance, comparator modes with high/low alarms, and onboard memory to store up to 99 insulation readings. A safety interlock (“Safety” key) prevents accidental selection of higher test voltages, and AUTO POWER OFF conserves battery life after 15 minutes of inactivity.
