The Kyoritsu KEW 4105A-H is a handheld digital earth resistance tester designed to reliably measure grounding resistance and earth voltage under a variety of field conditions. It incorporates a large, easy-to-read LCD, clearly displaying measured values and warning indications. Conforming to IEC 61557 safety standards, the instrument features reinforced insulation and protective finger guards, enabling safe operation up to CAT III 600 V environments. Its dust- and drip-proof IP 54-rated housing ensures dependable performance even in adverse weather.
Equipped with both precise and simplified measurement modes, the KEW 4105A-H uses a three-terminal method for accurate earth resistance readings, while its two-terminal mode allows rapid checks without auxiliary spikes. The built-in earth voltage range alerts the user if stray voltages exceed 3 V, preventing measurement errors. An LED-illuminated test button and automatic range switching streamline operations, and an internal warning alerts when auxiliary spike resistance is too high.
The tester comes with a convenient soft carrying bag that houses the main unit, test leads, and accessories. A neck strap (M-9121) and protective case lid allow hands-free use and quick access. Powered by six AA (R6P) batteries, it provides extended field operation, while the battery-check function ensures reliability before each measurement.
