L487 LDO Voltage Regulator with Reset 5V Pentawatt
The L487 LDO Voltage Regulator with Reset 5V Pentawatt is a monolithic integrated circuit in a Pentawatt package, designed to provide a stable 5 V output with ±4 % accuracy and deliver up to 500 mA of continuous current. It features very low dropout (0.6–0.8 V at full load) for operation down to battery cranking levels (as low as 6 V input), and includes a power‑on/power‑off reset pulse to reliably initialize microprocessor systems. The device incorporates overvoltage, reverse voltage, clamp‑diode, short‑circuit, and thermal‑shutdown protections for enhanced robustness in automotive and industrial environments
Features
- Precise 5 V ±4 % regulated output up to 500 mA continuous.
