The LF442CN is a dual low-power operational amplifier built with JFET input stages to deliver very high input impedance and low input currents. Housed in an 8-pin DIP (and also available in SOIC), it is tailored for designs where battery life and minimal loading of sensor sources matter. The architecture emphasizes clean linearity and stable operation across the commercial temperature range, enabling predictable analog performance in mixed-signal systems.
