Description

The LM35 integrated circuit is a temperature sensor with reduced dimensions, it has a 3-pin TO-92 package. Its output is analog and linear with a slope of 10mV /ºC. It allows you to measure temperature from −55°C to 150°C, it will help you carry out applications such as thermometers, thermostats, monitoring systems and more.

The LM35DZ is easy to use, it does not require additional circuitry to be used. It is powered directly from a 5V supply and delivers an analog output between 0V to 1.5V. This analog voltage can be read by the ADC of a microcontroller or development board such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, PICs and more.

It is a very precise and easy to use electronic component, as it provides an analog signal directly proportional to the temperature in degrees Celsius. The LM35 is a passive temperature sensor, meaning it does not need any external power supply to operate. Instead, it uses the energy from the output signal to power itself, making it very efficient in terms of power consumption.
