LP8 8-bit Active High Yellow LED Display Module
The LP8 8-bit Active High Yellow LED Display Module is a compact, breadboard-friendly indicator board featuring eight yellow LEDs arranged in a single row. Designed for ease of prototyping, each LED is active-HIGH enabled—meaning a HIGH logic level turns an LED ON—and the module is TTL-compatible with a wide supply voltage range from 3 V to 12 V. Its common-cathode configuration consolidates all LED negative terminals, simplifying wiring via a pin header. The module seamlessly integrates with microcontroller boards such as Eta32 and Betamini.
Features
- 8-bit yellow LED display module.
- Active HIGH input enables LEDs.
- Common cathode configuration with single negative pin header.
- TTL logic compatible.
- Wide input voltage range of 3V–12V.
- Suitable for breadboard prototyping and testing.
- Compatible with microcontroller kits such as Eta32 and Betamini.
PINOUT
| PIN | Function / Notes |
|---|---|
| 7 | Anode of LED L7 |
| 6 | Anode of LED L6 |
| 5 | Anode of LED L5, |
| 4 | Anode of LED L4 |
| 3 | Anode of LED L3 |
| 2 | Anode of LED L2 |
| 1 | Anode of LED L1 |
| 0 | Anode of LED L0 |
| V | Not connected / reserved |
| G | Common Ground |
Notes:
- Each LED anode line includes a 1K series resistor on the PCB as shown in the schematic; no additional series resistors are required for typical TTL logic-level sinking, but confirm desired LED current before applying a higher VCC.
- Active-HIGH operation: the microcontroller or driver must provide current to turn LEDs ON (drive the LED pin HIGH). When the pin is LOW or low-impedance, the LED will be OFF.
- Verify header orientation physically on your module before wiring — the table lists the PCB labels exactly as shown in the supplied schematic image.
