MC1489 Quad Line Receiver DIP-14
The MC1489 Quad Line Receiver DIP‑14 is a monolithic, low‑power, quadruple line receiver designed to meet the interface requirements between Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) and Data Communications Equipment (DCE) per TIA/EIA‑232‑F standards. Each of the four independent receivers accepts wide‑input voltage RS‑232 signals up to ±30 V and translates them into standard 5 V TTL/DTL logic outputs. The device operates from a single 5 V DC supply, providing simplified power requirements in digital communication systems.
