The MC1733CB is a wideband amplifier with differential input and differential output. Gain is fixed at 10V, 100V, or 400V without external components. With the addition of one external resistor, the gain becomes adjustable from 10V to 400V. The device offers very wide bandwidth for video applications, fast rise and propagation times, differential inputs and differential outputs, and on-chip output drive suitable for driving video loads, making it appropriate for broadcast, instrumentation and high-speed timing circuits

- Selectable fixed gains of 10, 100, or 400 without external components, or continuously adjustable gain from 10 to 400 with an external resistor.
- Typical bandwidth 120MHz at Avd = 10 for high-frequency video signals.
- Fast rise time 2.5ns (typ.) at Avd = 10 and propagation delay ~3.6ns (typ.) for high speed timing and pulse applications.
- Output current drive up to 10mA for driving loads and practical video terminations.
- Low internal power dissipation limits (500mW package limit) and thermal derating guidance for reliable operation.
