Description:
The APH-LD160 Microwave Smart Motion Sensor Light Switch is an advanced, energy-efficient lighting control system that uses microwave radar technology to detect movement and automatically switch lights on or off. This sensor switch is ideal for environments where hands-free, automatic lighting control is desired, such as in offices, hallways, bathrooms, garages, and public spaces.
Features:
- Radar scanned signal can penetrate into wooden door, glass and thin wall sent from sensor.
- It also can be installed in a hidden place for anti-thief and lighting. Our sensor can delay time accurately. Light on when people coming and off when leaving. It is widely used in inserted lighting, stairways, porch, corridor, bathroom and garage etc.
- Sensor not only looks simple and beautiful, but also is integrated into the modern humane and versatility clever design with ADJUSTABLE sensing distance, sensitivity and time delay.
- Sensor can be connected with energy-saving lamps, fluorescent lamps, LED lamps and other loads.

Working Principle:
The APH-LD160 uses microwave radar waves to detect motion. When there is movement within the sensor’s detection area, the reflected microwave signals are analyzed, and the sensor responds by triggering the connected lights to turn on. The sensor will remain active for a preset time after detecting motion, after which it will turn off the lights automatically when no further motion is detected.
Installation Instructions:
- Wiring: Install the sensor switch in place of the standard light switch, ensuring it is connected to the power supply and the light circuit.
- Mounting Location: Place the sensor in a location where it has an unobstructed view of the area to detect motion effectively. Consider mounting it at a height of about 2.5 meters for optimal performance.
- Adjusting Settings: Use the built-in adjustment dials (or buttons) to set the desired sensitivity and time delay. Ensure the sensor is properly aligned for the correct detection area.
Typical Applications:
- Home Automation: Automatically turn lights on when entering a room, and turn them off when leaving.
- Office Spaces: Reduce energy waste by ensuring lights are only on when the room is occupied.
- Public Areas: Install in hallways, staircases, and bathrooms to ensure lights only activate when needed.
- Outdoor Lighting: Automatically activate porch or garden lights when motion is detected, enhancing security.
