Mini USB Host Shield 2.0 ADK
The Mini USB Host Shield 2.0 ADK is a compact expansion board designed to provide USB host capabilities to Arduino Pro Mini and other 3.3V microcontrollers. Based on the MAX3421E USB host controller, this shield enables Arduino to communicate with USB peripherals such as keyboards, mice, flash drives, and Android devices supporting the Android Open Accessory (ADK) protocol.
Operating at 3.3V, the shield interfaces with the Arduino via the SPI protocol. Its small form factor (38mm x 18mm) makes it ideal for space-constrained projects. The shield supports USB hub functionality, allowing multiple USB devices to be connected simultaneously. It is compatible with Android devices running Android 2.3.4 or higher, facilitating data exchange between Arduino and Android smartphones or tablets.
Features:
- Mini USB Host allows (Pro mini version only) to achieve USB HOST function, can communicate with other USB devices, and support USB HUB function
