The MP60U30B is a rugged fast-recovery power diode supplied in a TO-3P style metal package designed for demanding power applications. Fast-recovery diodes switch off quickly with low reverse recovery charge, reducing switching losses and EMI in high-frequency converters, motor controllers, inverters and power factor correction circuits.

Rated for high average forward current and high peak surge capability, this diode is suitable where both low forward voltage and controlled, soft recovery behavior are required. The TO-3P (metal) package offers excellent thermal contact to a heatsink, enabling efficient heat dissipation in high-power assemblies.
