The PC922 is a high‑power OPIC (Optical IC) photocoupler produced by Sharp Corporation. It integrates an infrared LED input and dual outputs (O1, O2) including a built‑in base amplifier, making it suitable for high‑current drive such as inverter applications. The device features extremely high isolation of 5 000 Vrms between the input LED and the outputs, which ensures robust protection in electrically noisy or high‑voltage industrial environments.
