RAMPS RepRap Shield for Arduino Mega
The RAMPS (RepRap Arduino Mega Shield) is an all-in-one design created to fit the necessary components for a 3D printer into a single plug-in shield for an Arduino MEGA. Ramps boards are the heart of most DIY 3D printers and provide a compact way to integrate all systems.
Features
- Expandable: Designed to be expandable to control other accessories.
- Outputs and Inputs: Features 3 Mosfets for heater / fan outputs and 3 thermistor circuits.
- Safety Fuses: Fused at 5A for additional safety and component protection. It also includes heated bed control with an additional 11A fuse.
- Modular Sockets: The shield has on-pin header sockets so drivers can be replaced easily or removed for use in future designs.
- Expansion Pins: I2C and SPI pins are left available for future expansion.
- Indicators: Includes LEDs that indicate when the heater outputs are on.
