The Raspberry Pi Camera Board V1.3 is a compact high‑definition camera module designed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation for seamless integration with Raspberry Pi single‑board computers via the dedicated 15‑pin MIPI CSI connector.
At its heart is the Omni Vision OV5647 5‑megapixel CMOS sensor, capable of still‑image capture at 2592 × 1944 pixels and HD video recording at up to 1080p at 30 frames per second, as well as 720p at 60 fps and VGA 640×480 at up to 90 fps. 
Weighing only about 3 g and with compact dimensions around 20‑25 mm × 20‑25 mm × 9 mm, this module is suitable for embedded systems, educational devices, robotics, media‑capture and IoT applications where size, weight and simplicity matter.
