Product Description: Seeed Xiao ESP32-C3 – WiFi / Bluetooth
Seeed Xiao is a thumb-sized module, equipped with a powerful ESP32-C3 chip with a new 32-bit RISC-V architecture. Enables 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 / Mesh wireless communication. Perfect for IoT applications. The ESP32-C3 chip supports Station, SoftAP and SoftAP & Station modes and has 400 KB SRAM and 4 MB Flash memory . Seeed Xiao ESP32-C3 is characterized by low energy consumption. There is also a battery charging system on the board. There are 11 digital I/Os that can also be used as PWM pins and 4 analog I/Os that can be used as ADCs. Supports serial communication ports such as UART, I2C and SPI. An external antenna is also included. The module can be programmed in the Arduino environment.
Main Features of Seeed Xiao ESP32-C3
- Efficient system: the board is based on the ESP32-C3 system with RISC-V with a clock speed of up to 160 MHz, equipped with many communication ports, supported by Arduino and CircuitPython.
- Wireless communication: built-in 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy communication system, the maximum data transmission distance is 100 m with the U.FL antenna mounted.
- Low power consumption: provides 4 operating modes, in deep sleep mode it consumes only 44 μA. It also allows you to charge lithium batteries.
- Thumb-size design: the board dimensions are only 21 x 17.5 mm – the classic case of the Seeed Xiao series.
Seeed Xiao Tile Series
Xiao ESP32-C3 from Seeed studio is another product from the Seeed Xiao series. It has dimensions compatible with the entire Xiao series, i.e. 21 x 17.5 mm and numerous communication interfaces, such as: 1x UART, 1x I2C, 1x SPI, 11x GPIO, 4x ADC, Programming and powering the board is done via the interface USB type C – it also charges the battery. The board is equipped with 4 MB of Flash memory, it can be programmed in Arduino and CircuitPython.
