The ST8 is a high‑performance drive utilizing DSP-based PI current control, designed for two-phase hybrid stepper motors. With 16-position microstepping (up to 1/100 internal resolution), robust protections against over-voltage, over-current, phase faults, and built-in idle-current halving, the ST8 delivers smooth, low-noise, and low-heat operation across a wide speed range.
