Its slender ABS plastic body about 42 mm (1.65 inches) long houses a robust spring-loaded mechanism that controls a narrow metal hook (approx. 0.16 in or 4 mm long), enabling secure and precise grip on terminals. The clip also features a solder-friendly barrel beneath the insulated shroud, allowing permanent wire attachment when needed, and a flange to prevent excessive insertion.
