The TOF400C-VL53L1X Laser Ranging Sensor Time-of-Flight (TOF) with Filter Ranging up to 4m is an advanced distance measurement module The VL53L1X chip, employing state-of-the-art Flight Sense technology for precise, absolute ranging. This sensor operates by emitting invisible 940nm infrared laser pulses via a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) and calculating the time taken for the light to reflect back from a target, enabling measurements independent of the object’s color, reflectance, or texture. With a built-in protective cover filter, the module safeguards against dust ingress while providing optical filtering to mitigate interference from daylight and ambient light, thereby enhancing measurement reliability in diverse environments.
