A triangle metal dome (triangle tactile metal domes) is a triangle-shaped metal dome that is designed for mounting on single or double-sided printed circuit boards, flex circuits, and membranes, where a Via is run through the circuit board.
Applications requiring a good click feeling but limited to narrow space, such as small, hand-held devices, are a perfect fit with our Triangle series metal domes. On the same diameter, we can get the biggest force from the triangle dome, so this triangle tactile dome can be used as a heavy-force control switch to avoid careless operation.
Most triangle dome has two legs (feet) which can be inserted into the hole of the circuit board so that they can be fixed on the circuit without any adhesive tape and can be used at high temperature. Sometimes people named it a “metal dome with legs”.
