The UNI-T UT25CL Cable Locator comprises two handheld modules—a transmitter (UT25CL-T) and a receiver (UT25CL-R). Designed for meticulous detection tasks, it enables professionals to trace both energized and de-energized cables. With the transmitter’s signal, the receiver can track wiring paths inside walls, beneath floors, or even underground, helping you locate wires, identify shorts or open circuits, and find fuses accurately. The powerful combination of visual and audible indicators ensures precise cable tracking without guesswork.

Equipped with both a backlit LCD and integrated flashlight on both modules, the UT25CL excels in dim or confined spaces. It offers single-pole and dual-pole tracking modes, accommodates standard energized wire diagnostics up to 480 V (AC/DC), and enables non-contact voltage (NCV) detection in energized circuits. The receiver can handle signals from up to eight transmitters simultaneously, making it well-suited for complex installations or multi-circuit layouts.

Practical and robust, the locator supports both automatic and manual sensitivity scanning to adapt to various environments and cable conditions. Users can adjust signal strength via transmitter “levels” and maintain clarity by minimizing cross-talk. It’s CE-certified and built to withstand typical field conditions.
