UNI-T UT268B Wireless Large Current Fork Meter
The UNI-T UT268B Wireless Large Current Fork Meter is a compact, rechargeable instrument engineered for safe, in-circuit analysis of three-phase power networks. Leveraging advanced microprocessor and digital signal-processing circuitry, it captures a full suite of industrial-frequency parameters including voltage, RMS current, power (active, reactive and apparent), frequency, power factor and phase relationships without interrupting service thanks to its non-intrusive fork-type current transformer design. Its sizeable φ50 mm jaw accommodates heavy conductors and busbars, while a high-brightness backlit display provides clear real-time visualization of readings and vector diagrams.
Built around a rugged, double-insulated housing, the UT268B mounts securely via three dedicated input ports for both voltage leads and current clamps, minimizing wiring errors and ensuring operator safety. A built-in data buffer holds up to 500 measurement sets, which can be reviewed on the meter or exported via USB to a PC for deeper analysis and reporting.
Automatic power-off preserves battery life, and low-battery indication prompts timely recharging of its large-capacity 3.7 V lithium cell. Designed for field technicians and maintenance crews, the UT268B combines portability with precision, enabling efficient diagnostics, commissioning, and troubleshooting of high-current installations without ever disconnecting live conductors.
Features:
- Measures three-phase voltage, current, phase angle and frequency.
- Measures power (active, reactive, apparent), power factor and total power.
- Measures grid frequency and phase sequence.
- Automatically identifies transformer windings, capacitive vs. inductive loads, and detects incorrect wiring in 3-phase three-wire and four-wire systems.
