UNI-T UT714 Multifunction Temperature Process Calibrator
The UNI-T UT714 Multifunction Temperature Process Calibrator is a rugged, handheld instrument designed to both source and measure a broad spectrum of temperature signals, making it ideal for calibration and troubleshooting of temperature-based process equipment. Internally, it accommodates thermocouples (types R, S, K, E, J, T, N, B, L, U) and RTDs (Pt and Cu elements at standard α values) by accurately generating reference voltages or resistances to simulate real-world sensors. Simultaneously, it can measure incoming signals thermocouple mV, RTD resistance, DC voltage, or resistance allowing end-to-end verification of transmitters, controllers, and sensors.
Its 20,000-count display ensures fine resolution, while a built-in continuity check streamlines wiring diagnostics. Encased in a durable housing, the UT714 operates between –10 °C and 55 °C, with a large backlit LCD facilitating readability in dim environments. It also features a rechargeable AA-battery pack, a micro-USB port for PC connectivity, and onboard memory to store and recall custom setups saving time when switching between calibration tasks. Step and ramp functions enable automated simulation of temperature profiles, and contrast adjustment ensures clear visibility.
