UNI-T UT685A KIT TDR Cable Tester
The UNI-T UT685A KIT is a professional cable testing instrument designed for network installation, telecommunications, and troubleshooting applications. It supports CAT5/CAT6 twisted-pair cables, UTP, FTP, and SSTP cables, allowing technicians to check wiring sequences, detect polarity, test crimped connectors, measure cable length, and identify the distance to cable faults. Its TDR-based cable fault location capability helps simplify the diagnosis of open circuits and short circuits, reducing troubleshooting time in structured cabling installations.
The tester also provides PoE testing, Ethernet port status detection, port flashing, full-duplex and half-duplex detection, and cable tracing functions. Its 2.8-inch LCD, built-in hazardous-voltage warning, non-contact voltage detection (NCV), and USB Type-C charging port make it a practical tool for network technicians, IT administrators, telecom installers, and maintenance professionals.
