Step-Down (buck) Switching Power Supply 1.25V-36V (adjustable), max. 5A / 75 Watt, with thermal and short circuit protection.
This module comes ready assembled , with additional hardware (Heatsink, Screws and Spaces). It is a powerful switching voltage regulator with very high efficiency of up to 96%.
The output voltage can be adjusted by the on-board trimmer potentiometer. The input voltage must be at least 1.5V higher than the output voltage (>2V recommended for better stability).
Please understand, that the included heatsink is only capable enough to dissipate enough heat up to about 50W output power. For higher output power values, additional (active) cooling or a larger heat sink is required. The maximum rating of 5A or 75W (whatever is reached first) must not be exceeded. The integrated temperature and over-current (short circuit) protection will shut the DC-DC converter down when it is operated beyond the limits.
The push button switches between input and output voltage readings.
