MCM4164BP15 64Kbit Dynamic RAM IC DIP 16-Pin

The MCM4164BP15 is a Motorola-manufactured commercial‑grade 64 Kbit (65,536 × 1‑bit) dynamic random‑access memory chip. It provides fixed +5.0 V ±10 % single‑supply operation, a maximum access time of 150 ns, and a standard JEDEC DIP‑16 pinout. The device supports page‑mode read/write for faster sequential access and offers TTL‑compatible inputs with three‑state output buffers. It is fully cross‑compatible with the original 4164 family of TTL DRAMs.

Features
  • Organized as 65,536 Words of 1 Bit.
  • Single +5 V operation (±10 %).
  • Maximum access time: 150 ns.
  • Low power dissipation: 275 mW maximum (Active) and 22 mW maximum (Standby).
  • Three-state data output.
  • Internal latches for address and data input.
  • Early-write common I/O capability.
  • 16K-compatible 128-cycle, 2 ms refresh.
  • RAS-only refresh mode.
  • CAS-controlled output.
  • Upward pin compatibility with 16K RAM (MCM4116, MCM4517).
  • Fast page-mode cycle time.
