NE646N Dolby Noise Reduction Circuit
The NE646N is a monolithic integrated circuit designed for Dolby B-type noise reduction systems. It is a direct replacement for the earlier NE645B/NE646B devices and is engineered to significantly reduce the background noise typically introduced during the recording and playback of audio on magnetic tape. This circuit also improves the noise level in FM broadcast reception.
