SA14A is a unidirectional DO-15 TVS diode, 14V standoff, 22A peak pulse current and 500W (10/1000µs) surge protection for fast clamp and ESD/transient suppression.
The SA14A TVS Diode is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression device in a DO-15 axial package engineered to protect sensitive circuits from high-energy voltage transients such as lightning induced spikes, switching transients and ESD events. It offers a 14V reverse standoff, excellent clamping performance, low leakage and robust surge capability in a compact, glass-passivated package suitable for telecom, industrial, automotive and consumer applications.
Features
500W peak pulse power capability at the 10/1000µs waveform for heavy transient protection.
Unidirectional DO-15 axial package with glass-passivated junction for reliable performance.
Reverse standoff voltage 14V with tight breakdown tolerance for predictable protection behavior.
Maximum clamping voltage ~23.2V at the specified peak pulse current for effective voltage limiting.
Low reverse leakage current (typical ≤1µA at VR) for minimal standby drain.
Fast response time (typically <1.0ps from 0V to VBRmin).
Peak forward surge capability FSM 70A (8.3ms single half sine), suitable for short transient stress.
High temperature capability and wide junction/storage range (−65°C to +175°C).
