Product description: Teensy 4.0 ARM Cortex-M7 – compatible with Arduino
Small size module with great possibilities. Teensy4.0 is a development board designed to be used together with contact boards. Module is equipped with 32/64 -bit microcontroller with ARM Cortex-M7600 MHz core, 1024 kB Flash, 1024 kB RAM. The fastest currently available NXP iMXRT1062 microcontroller was used here. The module has 40 input/output pins of which 31 PWM channels, 14 analog inputs, DMA controller and popular communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, I2S, CAN. The Teensy 4.0 is the same size and shape as the Teensy 3.2, and maintains compatibility with most of the pin functions in the Teensy 3.2.
Programming
The module comes preloaded with a bootloader, so you can program the microcontroller using the built-in micro USB connector, without the need for an external programmer. You will need microUSB cable to run the module. For programming you can use any C language environment or, after uploading teensyduino extension, Arduino IDE environment.
