The 74573 and is 8-bit D-type transparent latch integrated circuits featuring 3-state outputs. These devices allow digital data present on the eight input lines (D0–D7) to pass directly to the outputs while the Latch Enable (LE) input is HIGH. When LE transitions LOW, the data currently present at the inputs is stored internally and remains available at the outputs until new data is latched. The Output Enable (OE) control allows all outputs to be placed in a high-impedance state, making the device suitable for shared bus systems.
