Arduino Nano ATmega328PB-U Driver CH340C 5V 16MHz Type-C

The Arduino Nano ATmega328PB Driver CH340C 5V 16MHz Type-C Nano is based on the famous Arduino platform and does all the functions of Uno but with a smaller footprint. This development board provides a small plate with the same powerful microcontroller. It is compatible with Arduino and ideal for fast prototyping and easy integration. It’s vital for your small project where you don’t need much of a pin-outs but the small size is very important to make it look good. The board equips a low-cost USB-Serial Chip that makes it less in price than Nano with FTDI USB-Serial Chip used on older versions of Arduino Nano. The Nano is a small, complete, and breadboard-friendly board based on the ATmega328. It lacks only a DC power jack and works with a Type-C cable instead of a standard one. The board can be powered via the Type-C connection, 6-12V unregulated external power supply (pin 30), or 5V regulated external power supply (pin 27). The power source is automatically selected as the highest voltage source. The size of the board is only 43 mm x 18 mm, it comes with 6 PWM I/O from a total of 14 digitals I/O, 8 analog inputs, 16Mhz clock speed, and 32kB of flash memory. It can be programmed directly from the Arduino IDE, using the Type-C connection.

Features of Arduino Nano:
  • Modern USB Type-C Port Reversible connector, more durable and widely used than Micro USB.
  • Enhanced ATmega328PB-U Microcontroller More features and I/O options than the classic ATmega328P.
  • Compact and Breadboard-Friendly Perfect for small spaces and quick prototyping on breadboards.
  • Stable CH340C USB-to-Serial Chip Reliable communication with built-in crystal, reducing component count.
  • 5V Logic Level Fully compatible with most sensors, modules, and hardware components.
  • 16 MHz Clock Speed Standard and reliable speed for Arduino projects and real-time control.
  • Low Power and Efficient Great for battery-powered and portable applications.
  • Wide Community and IDE Support Compatible with Arduino IDE, libraries, and examples.

Watch a video walkthrough of this process

we’ll show you how to install CH340 drivers on multiple operating systems if you need them. The driver should automatically install on most operating systems. However, there is a wide range of operating systems out there. You may need to install drivers the first time you connect the chip to your computer’s USB port or when there are operating system updates.

Windows
  1. Download the Windows CH340 Driver
  2. Unzip the file
  3. Run the installer that you unzipped
  4. In the Arduino IDE when the CH340 is connected you will see a COM Port in the Tools > Serial Port menu, the COM number for your device may vary depending on your system.
Note:
  • This board is a 100% compatible clone version with the same design as Arduino Nano But Type-C. It is not the original version which is made in Italy. CH340 chip might not work directly with some PC/Laptop, you will need some CH340 drivers.
  • These Nano work with the latest revision bootloader.
  • The board operates at 5V which can be supplied via the Vin pin or through the USB port connection.
  • The power source is selected automatically if both are available.
  • If the Vin input is used, it is recommended to use a supply between 7-12V.
  • Higher input voltages will cause the on-board regulator to work harder and may cause it to overheat.
  • Like all Arduino and compatible boards, it can be programmed using the Arduino IDE via the USB port.
Applications:
  • DIY Electronics Projects.
  • Home Automation.
  • IoT Projects (with additional modules).
  • Robotics.
  • Wearable Tech (if battery-powered properly).
  • Data Logging.
  • Education & Prototyping.
  • MIDI/USB Controller Projects.
  • Industrial Automation (small scale).
