The CONTEC MS100 SpO₂ Simulator is a small, lightweight, separated SpO₂ simulator designed for testing pulse oximeters under controlled simulated conditions. The simulator probe connects separately to the host, making testing more convenient, while built-in R-curves support compatibility with oximeters using different technologies.
The CONTEC MS100 can simulate oxygen saturation, pulse rate, preset patient states, and different signal amplitudes. It can also test the performance of a pulse oximeter under different interference sources and measure the reaction time of the tested device. The simulator supports a wide range of simulated SpO₂ values from 35% to 100% and pulse rates from 25 to 250 BPM. It can simulate different patient conditions, signal amplitudes, and interference sources, while built-in R-curves such as BCI, Masimo, and Nellcor improve compatibility with different pulse oximeter designs. The CONTEC MS100 can also test the reaction time of SpO₂, pulse rate, and cardiac-arrest detection.
As different manufacturers may use different R-curve, current popular R curves (such as BCI, Masimo, Nellcor, etc.) are embedded into the simulator in advance.
