This low-cost, smart and WiFi enabled board is a great starting point for those who are new to developing network-enabled projects. Featuring the powerful ESP8266 chip, it has significantly more processing power than standard Arduino microcontrollers and is fully compatible with the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software, which makes it easy to use and uploading sketches to the board simple. The CH9102X version is much smaller than the CH340G version of the NodeMCU and, unlike the CP2102 version, it is more stable and does not need the FLASH Button to be held down during sketch uploading. It is also fully USB ‘Plug and Play’ Ready for Windows 10 .
The header pins come pre-soldered onto this board so that it is completely ready to use.
