The FNIRSI® LCR-P1 Multifunction LCR Transistor Capacitor Tester is a compact electronic component analyzer created for technicians, engineers, repair specialists, and electronics enthusiasts. It provides a convenient way to examine many commonly used components without manually identifying every terminal or calculating values from separate measurements. Components are inserted into the locking test socket, and the instrument automatically analyzes the connected device before presenting the result on its color display.

The tester can identify two-terminal and three-terminal parts, determine their pin arrangement, and display relevant electrical information in an easy-to-read visual format. It is designed to work with transistors, diodes, Zener diodes, field-effect transistors, thyristors, capacitors, resistors, inductors, and low-voltage batteries. A dedicated high-voltage testing area allows supported Zener diodes to be examined beyond the standard socket’s lower-voltage range.

In addition to component analysis, the LCR-P1 includes an infrared decoding mode for checking compatible remote-control signals and displaying their decoded information and waveform. Its rechargeable handheld design makes it suitable for use at a workbench, in a repair area, or during portable troubleshooting. Automatic recognition reduces connection uncertainty, simplifies repeated testing, and helps users quickly evaluate unidentified, removed, or replacement electronic components before installation efficiently.
