KYORITSU KEW 4105DL Earth Tester (Made In THAILAND)
The KYORITSU KEW 4105DL Earth Tester (Made In THAILAND) is a rugged, handheld digital earth tester designed to assess ground resistance and earth voltage in a variety of settings. Housed in an IP67-rated, dust- and waterproof enclosure, it withstands harsh outdoor environments and can be washed clean after muddy field use. Six AA cells power the unit, and an automatic power-off feature conserves battery life when idle.
Internally, the tester employs the fall-of-potential method: it injects a stable AC current between the earth electrode under test and a remote spike, then measures the resulting voltage drop to calculate resistance. A large backlit LCD displays true-RMS voltage (AC/DC auto-detect) up to 300 V and earth resistance from 0.00 Ω to 2099 Ω, with clear over-range and warning indicators.
Ergonomically shaped for two-hand operation, the KEW 4105DL features a rotary range switch, a dedicated TEST button with LED feedback, and status LEDs for spike integrity and high earth-voltage warnings. The KEW 4105DLBT variant adds Bluetooth® (v5.0) for remote monitoring via the free “KEW Smart” app, enabling data logging and location tagging on tablets.
