The TIL113M is a general-purpose optocoupler that provides electrical isolation by transferring signals through light. It contains a gallium arsenide infrared LED optically coupled to a photodarlington transistor, offering significantly higher current gain compared to standard phototransistor optocouplers. When the input LED is energized, the emitted light activates the Darlington output stage, allowing signal transmission without direct electrical connection between input and output circuits.
